Objective

After completing this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply graphic design concepts, principles, and guidelines in professional work.
  • Use illustration software to create creative and professional designs.
  • Operate personal computers and office applications efficiently for design-related tasks.
  • Access information and communicate effectively using the internet and email.
  • Manage ethical practices within the ICT and creative workplace.
  • Perform image separation, composition, and editing for design outputs.
  • Prepare mock-ups, layouts, and final materials ready for print and digital publishing.
  • Develop professional-quality design materials for diverse outputs, ensuring creativity and accuracy.

Module 1: Basic Competencies (36 hours)

  • Apply occupational safety and health (OSH) practices in the workplace
  • Carry out workplace interaction in English

Module 2: Personal Competencies (64 hours)

  • Operate a personal computer and use application software
  • Use office application software
  • Access information using internet and electronic mail
  • Comply with ethical standards in the ICT workplace

Module 3: Occupational Competencies (260 hours)

  • Apply graphic design concepts and guidelines
  • Create professional designs using illustration software
  • Separate and compose images
  • Create mock-up and print
  • Develop materials for final output
